AI Art Class: Create Your Own AI Images with Stable Diffusion

We’ll dive into the world of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), understanding how they use Stable Diffusion to learn from datasets and create stunning AI images. You’ll learn about Embeddings, the AI equivalent of an artist’s sketch, and how they capture the essence of an image in a way that an AI can understand and manipulate.

A high-power GPU will be on hand, allowing us to process images quickly and efficiently. You’ll have the chance to take pictures of each other, creating your own datasets and producing unique embeddings for each participant. And the best part? We’ll use these embeddings to generate AI-created images of each participant, providing a unique takeaway from the class.

The class will work through a Google Colab document together, a versatile tool that allows you to write and execute Python code through your web browser. You’ll get hands-on experience preparing datasets, running models, and generating AI images. Plus, you can take your Google Colab notebook home and continue experimenting and creating with AI.
